Mock State Fair

At home in the midwest this time of year state fairs are going on, and so our friends felt that we should have our own. So this year was the first annual foreigners state fair. So what all did this day entail???
well we went to a local park and rode the ferris wheel



Then we came back to our house and our neutral dutch friends did the judging of vegetables, decorated vegetables, sewing projects, and baked goods. After the judging we had a potluck and enjoyed each others company. Unfortunately there was no livestock involved (too smelly for a small apartment). It's as close as we'll get to a real fair here!
