We arrived in Singapore early this morning, where we'll be for about a month for training and orientation. We had a great flight and have already met some wonderful people. This being our first experience in Asia, we thought we'd share with you a few things that we have learned or things that have stood out to us so far.
-they sell grilled shrimp, and soft shelled crab flavored Pringles potato chips which we thought were quite unusual flavors
-they drive on the left side of the road, and the right side of the car like the UK
-it's illegal to not flush a public toilet, or dispose of your gum properly
-it is a very modern and safe country with English being one of the main languages
-Singapore has a tropical rainforest climate making it hot and humid here. We are entering into the wet monsoon season, so we bought an umbrella today.
-Singapore is located 85 miles north of the equator.
-they have the world's tallest ferris wheel which stands 541 feet tall

Wow! I'm impressed that you are blogging away after what must have been some serious jet lag! But then you are young.

Happy to hear of your safe arrival. We've been thinking of you. Fun to hear of the Pringles varieties -- any Jones Soda?
